We have stated the main risk categories that all organisations may face.
These include business, operational,market,credit and reputational risks.
There is an additional risk which usually but not exclusively applies to financial organisations and that is legal and regulatory risk covering tax laws and other regulations.
There is also the question of systemic risk with a possible collapse of the financial system which could spread through the economy like a contagion.
These are more general categories of risk but nevertheless they should still be treated as very important.
We need to take them very seriously.
